Questions & Answers

Hi the CAT 6 cable lock with the part number PSL-DCPL-BU is it compatible with the Systimax CAT 6 patch cable

Asked by Anonymous user on 06.06 AM Monday, 17 July, 2017

  • - Hello, The RJ45 Lock-in device should work with most RJ45 patch cords, however this item is not tested with competitor parts. If this is nota proprietary foot print or design to Systimax, the part will work.

This is an obvious question...but I presume the "key" is not unique in any way since it is described as a "tool". So anybody could order on of these and use it on any other installation, correct?

Asked by Anonymous user on 12.08 AM Tuesday, 22 August, 2017

  • - Hello, Yes, the key is not unique and can be used for any RJ45 installation.
