Do you have cables and wires from your computer and other equipment that you would like to remove from the floor?

The Cable-Safe™ Cable Manager can help to lift your cables, surge protectors, modems and other small devices from your floor. This custom-built system keeps your items safe from the potential of spills and dust — and you from the possibility of tripping over wires and equipment. This product can also make it easier to clean up behind your electronics and prevent items like your computer from falling if a cord snags.

It can organize up to 14 cables for a computer workstation; and be used in sets to manage more complex work areas. Whether it is placed under a desk to organize computer cords or a ledge to manage a home theater system, the center portion of this useful product expands up two inches to clamp onto furniture without leaving surface marks, pulling up and neatening excess cables. There are also screws with this item, should you prefer to wall mount it.

This product comes with hooks that hang on a flat shelf piece, where you can loop and attach cables. The shelf can be used to keep USB hubs or power strips in place and off the ground. It contains mini bungee cords, plus hook and loop cable wraps to further neaten wrapped wires. It also has clips to organize the smallest of wires, with cable labels rounding out this kit, to help identify each cable and port.

STEP 4. SEPARATE & UNTANGLE CABLES

After unplugging one end of each cable, make sure wires are straightened, disconnected and unknotted, which can help with the organization process.

STEP 5. LABEL CABLES

It is important to identify cables to prevent connection problems and issues when restarting systems. When wires are labeled, it saves future stresses and the ability to easily add or change cables.

STEP 6. HANG POWER STRIP

After organizing and labeling wires, power strips and surge protectors can also be suspended on a hook along the desk clamp stem, to keep them off the floor.

STEP 7. STACK HUBS & POWER ADAPTORS

Lift up on the hook to unsnap the shelf, then move it to match the width of your devices, snapping the hooks into place.

STEP 8. SECURE DEVICES ON SHELF WITH BUNGEE STRAPS

Use one of the 16 bungee slots on the outside of the CableTrack or one of three in each CableHook. To release any item, pull the bungee strap up and out.

STEP 9. MAKE CABLE SLACK INTO NEAT LOOPS

Hang thicker power and data cables first. Hand drape a cable over a CableHook, then hold the other hand below by 8 to 10 inches. Wind the cable from the hook down your hand to absorb excess cable length. Then tie the loops on both ends with cable ties to create straight and neat bundles. Leave enough excess cable length to be able to move your computer or mouse.
