  • Enough putty is provided to seal the ends 1" deep for extra fire and smoke protection.
  • The Ready® sleeves are great to use in concrete floors, walls, block walls, and gypsum board - perfect for most types of construction.
  • Larger sizes of the Ready Sleeve include a built-in bushing that protects the cable jacket and allows for easy cable pulling.
  • Putty doesn't harden, so it's a snap to add or subtract cables - just make your changes, and reapply putty to original depth.
  • Standard-sized sleeves are perfect for gypsum board into which round holes can be easily drilled; larger sleeves are available for installation in masonry where drills could cause blowouts.

    Question:

    According to STI system search there is no rated system going through a wood floor/ceiling assembly. Is there another product for that application, or is it possible for this to be approved for that use?

    • - Hello, There is no testing with Ready Sleeve in floor-ceiling assemblies. Our recommendation would be to use EZ Path.
