The SideWinder Cable Protection System™ provides a flexible and simple cord protection solution. The 1.5" segments bend side to side to maneuver around corners while still providing drop over safety for your cables. |
- Can be extended or shortened in 1.5" segments for customized length
- Available in 4 different colors:
- Black and Yellow to warn you about the danger of the cables or a potential tripping hazard
- Black, Gray, and Brown to blend with office flooring or décor
- Low profile design to avoid tripping hazards
- Equipped with rubber tabs to securely hold cables in place and prevent the cord cover from moving while in use
- Constructed of sturdy ABS for durability
- Strong material is resistant to multiple solvents and chemicals, so it can be used in areas where chemical exposure is evident (please note: does not protect cables from chemical or temperature exposure)
- Maintains cable bend radius to prevent data or power loss while in use
- Easy to use design simply goes over cables and holds them in place while protecting them from above traffic
- Can be used as a temporary or permanent cord cover solution in home or office settings
- Includes no sticky adhesive so it leaves no residue behind
- Supports up to 4000 lbs of weight at a time for ultimate durability and cord protection (Not designed for use as a foundation for ladders or scaffolding, OR regular use by motor vehicles, pickup trucks, or any item with rigid wheels moving more than 5 mph)

Comments about Sidewinder Cord Cover/Cable Protector- 3ft:
This is a great product. Like most things though there are a few things that could be improved. If you change the length frequently pushing the plastic release is difficult unless you have strong fingers. It is also a little small if you have big strong fingers. I also would like to see a model with a larger channel. We had an instance where we had a power cord, network cable and vga cable and it did not all fit into the channel. This is very common in an AV room. The little rubber feet on the bottom for holding the cable are great, but if they could be designed to rotate open and closed that would aid in deployment greatly and minimize the change of loosing them as they can pop off when pulling out the cables. Sometimes you just want to set the protection over the cables for short term and the rubber feet as designed make that difficult without removing them altogether.
