The Intera System provides wall plate connectivity in an attractive, professional looking faceplate. It has the standard expandability that blank faceplates and snap-in connectors provide, as well as pre-wired more complex connections such as VGA, Stereo audio, S-Video and RCA composite connections. Most of the Intera products function as simple feed-through, though two are "active", meaning that they balance stereo audio and buffer the video feeds ensuring quality over longer distances. This amplification is achieved in the PDC-ISC2000 and PDC-ISV3000 with the help of a low voltage power input.
