One of the greatest problems with installing expansive A/V networks lies in maintaining cable integrity over long distances. The Altinex® Muse distribution system provides the perfect solution by allowing you to run HDMI, power, and IR remote signals over a single shielded Category 6 cable.

  • Modular transmitters simplify addition, removal, and replacement by the user
  • FlexDA Technology automatically detects additional transmitter cards, enabling stress-free expansion and setup
  • To ensure safe power transmission to display, each Handheld Transmitter and Transmitter Card is equipped with safety features:
    • Current Monitor: Ensures that the current necessary to power the connected display is regulated
    • Auto Shutdown: Powers off the connected display after long periods of inactivity
    • Auto Receiver Detector: Automatically picks up any connected receiver(s) for faster setup
    • Auto Cable Integrity Check: Checks the connected CAT6 STP cable for damage that may cause an overload or other electrical hazard
  • HDCP compliant signal prevents piracy and related legal ramifications
  • For smaller systems, the MU400-111 Handheld Transmitter and MU500-112 Handheld Receiver may be used without the full unit, allowing for smaller applications and affordable extensions
  • Since only one cable runs from the transmitter, cable management is a breeze
  • 150W per card capacity easily powers most modern large screen LCD displays
