These AC/DC Voltage Detectors from Santronics are ideal for just about any application. Simply touch the tic tracer's tip to a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord, and when the tip glows red, you know that voltage is present. Their compact design makes them easy to transport and keeps them readily available for use on a jobsite. Each tic tester gives you visual or audio indications of power detection, and needs no contact with conductors to be activated. |

Good tester to check for voltage. I like the way the tip lights when voltage is present. I also like the audible alarm but it is not loud enough. Sometimes you need to plug it in a receptacle and go to find the circuit to turn it off. The audible alarm saves trips back and forth but this one is not loud enough if the panel is very far away. Otherwise it's a good little tester.
