As automated machinery evolves technologically into faster, harder working and more efficient tools, it's common to find cables prematurely breaking down and deteriorating under the increased stress and friction. More |
IGUS®, a world leader in Energy Chain® cable management systems, has developed a complementary line of cables specially designed to withstand the grueling rigors of fast-paced equipment. The Chainflex® CF10 line of Shielded Control Cables provides installers and machine operators with a premium quality cabling solution for all types of equipment and applications requiring the utmost protection and reliability.
- Weather and environmental resistant TPE construction is suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor applications, while remaining highly flexible in cold environments and maintaining internal integrity when exposed to temperatures ranging from -31°F to 212°F (-35°C to 100°C)
- Highly flexible conductors are constructed from very fine bare copper stranding that is in accordance with EN 60228, and meets the performance requirements for maximum mechanical loads
- Intermediate jacket is made from a pressure extruded, gusset-filled TPE blend that maintains flexibility while keeping the conductors braided in short pitches for extremely low torsion
- Tinned copper shielding flexes easily within the cable, and provides approximately 90% optical coverage to reduce the effects of EMI and cross-talk interference
- Outer jacket is molded from a pressure extruded TPE blend that is particularly abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant, bio-oil resistant, and coolant-resistant
- Silicon-free in compliance with PV 3.10.7 – status 1992
- Halogen-free
- PVC-free
- CE Rated
- RoHS compliant
- Available in multiple wire gauges (12-26 AWG) and conductor counts sizes, for use in a wide range of applications, such as:
- Storage and retrieval units for high-bay warehouses
- CNC and milling machinery
- Cleanrooms
- Ship-to-shore
- Outdoor construction equipment and cranes
- Low temperature environments
