The 25AC model is designed to drive the specially configured 25AC staples to a predetermined depth in most substrates, to eliminate crushed broadband cables, which can cause system slowdowns.

I almost kicked myself when I left my Acme 25A on a job site and had to pick up a "throw-away" replacement gun to tide me over until I could order a replacement Acme. I really missed my Acme.
The feature I like most about the 25A is when I am running cat5e wire along molding & baseboards, I place the angled nose up to the molding at a 45 degree angle and squeeze. The staple holds the wire tight to the corner. A perfect job every time.
I can tell you that I have used a few staple guns in my career, some cheaper than this one, BUT this gun has proven itself the best every time.

I'm a Cable Contractor for Time Warner and this is the BEST staple gun I have ever used. Unlike the T25, this was a pretty nifty idea for the cartridge case's inability to fall out like the T25. Has NEVER jammed and I can even use this gun on most concrete walls (which you run into in many housing complex style buildings. I have also dropped this staple gun many times and have never had a problem with it. The tips on other guns have broken, chambers bent easily and other bent parts would prevent T25 from working. One thing I would say, and it's very minor, is that the square portion on the bottom of the gun which is about an inch from the extracting part of the tip can mark sheet rock walls of any type. But a slight change in how you use it can fix that problem. Once again, BEST GUN I've ever used for the business!
