Dura-Flex Professional (DP) grade braided sleeving is perfect for any industrial, commercial or construction application requiring heavy duty abrasion protection or ISO certified hose protection. Constructed from tightly woven Nylon fibers, this braided sleeving protects hoses and cables from outside dangers such as abrasion, salt, UV, chemical, rotting and vermin damage.

Dura Flex® Vs. Dura Flex® Pro

You may be asking… “What is the difference between Dura Flex® and Dura Flex® Pro?”. The answer is pretty simple, wall thickness. Dura Flex® is constructed of 45 Mil Nylon while Dura Flex® Pro is constructed of 80 Mil Nylon. Both products have excellent abrasion resistant properties but due to the much thicker construction Dura Flex® Pro provides more protection. When tested for abrasion Dura Flex® lasted 3,500 cycles without damage, while Pro lasted 13,000 cycles.

The smooth internal wall of DP not only makes installing this braided sleeving fast and pain free, it also provides a high level of abrasion resistance from the material that it’s protecting.

  1. Fibers are tightly woven to provide a wide range of flexibility without losing any structural integrity.
  2. Cuts easily with scissors, or it can also be cut and cleanly finished with a hot knife.
  3. Inner wall is exceptionally smooth to provide easy installation and an extra degree of protection from rough or uneven materials that could cause internal abrasion.
  4. UV and chemical resistant to protect both the material and internal hoses or cables from corrosion and ultraviolet degradation.
  5. Nylon woven braids protect outdoor applications from gnawing vermin and rotting.
