Questions & Answers

J-Hook Cabling - How many CAT6 cables can safely be installed using a 4" J-Hook?

Asked by Anonymous user on 07/28/2014 12:55 PM

  • - Thank you for your question. Depends on the circumference of the cable, but you can safely assume around 100 cables on a 4" J-Hook.

Weight Capactiy - Do you have any specs for how much weight these can hold?

Asked by Anonymous user on 10/1/2014 12:41 AM

  • - Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this is not a spec provided by the manufacturer. It is however designed to hold a certain amount of cables, so I would say not a substantial amount of weight.

    Fernando M. on 10/24/2014 11:21 AM
  • - 60 lbs, as per Erico's product catalogue.

Our warehouse has concrete ribbed ceilings. What mount would I need for these to be installed so I can run the cabling?

Asked by Anonymous user on 05/8/2017 4:53 PM

  • - Hello, If you?re able to drill holes in ceiling, you would need a Hilti Gun to pin and nail (CATHPAF14), which snaps on back of J-Hook. If you have any other questions please feel free to call us toll free at 866-222-0030

Are J hooks considered a pathway.

Asked by Anonymous user on 06/21/2018 7:15 PM

  • - Hello, No, although the are used to hold up cables, they are not considered a pathway. A pathway would be more like wire loom or cable raceway
