What Makes Flexo® Super Duty Different Than Other Braided Sleeving Options?

Flexo® Super Duty (SD) is used in mechanics, automotive, marine and industrial wire harnessing and management applications where full coverage and application durability are important. The unique braided construction allows expandability for quick and easy installation over connectors and long installation runs. SD is braided from 20 mil 6-6 Nylon Polyamide monofilament yarns. The material has a wide operating temperature range, resists chemical degradation, hydraulic and automotive fluids and oils, UV damage, and abrasion.

• Braided from 0.020" Nylon® 6-6 polyamide monofilament to provide excellent versatility and flexibility for meeting specific bend radius or physical limitations of cables/hoses.
• Flexo SD has a FAR 25 flammability rating and higher tensile strength then Gorilla Sleeve while Gorilla Sleeve can withstand greater abrasion cycles (4,400) compared to Flexo SD (2,500).
• Prevents structural breakdown and the fading of color in cables or hoses by resisting harmful UV rays in outdoor applications.
• Prevents moisture from becoming trapped, and protects against substances like gasoline, solvents, salt water and other chemicals that could cause corrosion and substantial damage over time.
