The Chainflex® line of shielded and non-shielded power cables from IGUS® is designed to be the ideal wiring solution for demanding applications on all types of automated machinery. These power cables can handle tight-radius bends while maintaining optimal performance, thanks to the incredibly strong high-tensile center core. With a durable PVC based outer jacket and individually insulated copper conductors, this power cable can withstand the friction of moving components and the unfavorable conditions that are generally associated with industrial environments.

- Outer jacket is constructed from a durable PVC-based, low-adhesion blend to protect the inner conductors from oil, UV light, or other harmful environmental factors.
- Insulated copper conductors are stranded around a high-tensile core for increased strength, and helping to maintain a proper bend radius when used within moving machinery or with a cable and hose carrier system.
- Multi-conductor power cable, with your choice of either a shielded or non-shielded jacket to meet design specifications for use in a wide variety of high mechanical load applications (mechanical tools, forklifts, indoor cranes, ext…).

Conductors are made from finely stranded bare copper wires in accordance with EN 60228 for providing quality performance and reliability
Each copper strand is protected with an individually labeled, mechanical grade TPE blend insulation
Outer jacket of non-shielded cable is a gusset filled, pressure extruded, Silicon-free PVC blend to meet the requirements for use with stationary or moving cable/hose chains in compliance with PV 3.10.7
Shielded cables provide 3 levels of protection:
- Outer jacket is made from a pressure extruded PVC blend that meets the durability requirements for use in cable/hose carrier systems.
- Overall shield made of highly flexible, tinned copper braids to reduce the effects of outside interference, and keep conductors safe in case of unforeseen wear-through of outer jacket.
- Inner jacket is made from a gusset filled, pressure extruded PVC blend that meets the flexibility requirements for electrical cable used for non-stationary machinery.
