The backplane speed of 48 Gbps provides all the performance you need for your computers, servers and other networking devices. This unit was created specifically to meet the demands of mid to large-sized workgroups, so it can handle the needs of your system when it comes to quick transfer speeds that support disk mirroring, data backup, graphics image file transfers and other bandwidth-intensive applications.
With no configuration needed, you don't have to be an IT pro to connect and enjoy.
- Power is provided using an external power adapter for increased signal integrity
- Able to automatically detect crossover for all ports making it ready to connect to other switches, hubs, PCs, and servers without the use of crossover cable thus saving you money on additional parts
- All RJ-45 ports have Auto-MDIX (auto uplink) for automatic detection of whether or not a crossover cable is required
- Supports NWay, now referred to as auto-negotiation, so that the different technologies connected to each other can decide which is best and should be utilized
- Supports 802.3x flow control for full duplex mode, which means that your systems are operating in both receiving and sending modes as well as collision- based backpressure for half duplex mode
- 19" rackmount brackets are included
