Thanks to a patented cutting wheel that delivers extra-clean cuts, Greenlee's EMT Conduit Cutter actually eliminates the need to debur conduit! The Greenlee conduit cutter is also very easy to operate: simply tighten the screw, rotate the cutter around the conduit, and then snap the conduit in two along the score line. Since its cutting wheel doesn't penetrate conduit walls, this cutter is even safe to use on conduit in which wire is already installed.

Comments about Greenlee A Textron Company Greenlee Conduit Cutter:
I dont understand why Greenlee would design such a poor product. It only scores the EMT and you have to snap it with your foot after scoring. This only works on long lenghts of pipe where you have leverage to snap it. This method does not work on short lenghts where it is needed most. I was very dissapointed when i used it for the first time after being excited about buying it. I had to use my partner's cutter to finish the job. Greenlee needs to improve this product. I am taking it back to the supplier for a refund.

Comments about Greenlee A Textron Company Greenlee Conduit Cutter:
Bought this hoping that it would save time.
Pros: none whatsoever
Cons: if it is tight enough to score pipe it is too hard to turn/pipe slips. Very slow to score. Worse than ever it DOES leave a sharp ridge and since it crimps the pipe it makes it impossible to get the reamer into the pipe.
Absolutely avoid at all costs, worse than worthless and I wouldn't use it if it was free or even paid to use it, sorry, it's really that bad.

Grips conduit well without warping; good clean cuts without burrs as promised. It can also take being dropped a few times without harm.
