What's special about this wire insulation?

For today's technician, minimizing your tool set must be as important as maximizing your skill set and on-the-job safety. Cold shrink tubing seals your connections from the elements and does not require a heat gun, torch, or any tools. Simply apply the tubing over the terminations and pull out the internal core cord for a quick seal. This seal created is equal to heat shrink tubing but is only compatible with low voltage applications.
