Once closed the self-locking latch offers a secure enclosure for your wires. Surface raceways are used in schools, hospitals, and offices to guide cables from the telecommunications closest to each workstation. Raceways can be cut to customize to any application and the surface can be painted to match decor. Low Voltage Surface Raceways are available in three sizes and in 5, 6, and 8 foot lengths. The variety of sizes and lengths allow for varying amounts of cables to be extended straight from floor to ceiling and along walls. Matching accessories are available to connect raceways, change their direction and allow space for both electrical and data outlets.

I use the product for my personal "home theater." It cleans up wires that i couldn't run through the basement wall. Initially stuck it to the wall but ended up screwing it to the wall because the adhesive was slowly peeling off.

Used the raceways along with the 2900 series surface mount boxes to route network cables in a cinderblock classroom. The product goes up easily enough, we used screws and mollys to help hold it in place although the glue backing seems like it would be tacky enough to do the job alone. The stuff cuts nicely with a hacksaw. There isn't much else I can say about it other than if I had to do the project all over I would have no reservations about using this product again.

If you have a lot of wires to hide along a wall, the larger size will do the job. It's strong but easy to cut, drill, mount etc.
I have one section holding 4 12g speaker wires, a coax and 2 network cables and it all fits and looks great.
