Wiring Specifications
USB signals are transmitted on a twisted pair of data cables, labeled D+ and D-. These collectively use half-duplex differential signaling to combat the effects of electromagnetic noise on longer lines. Transmitted signal levels are 0.0-0.3 volts for low and 2.8-3.6 volts for high.

Comments about Vanco USB Keystone Insert Adapter:
This, among other things, was a bit difficult to find. Not only does Cable Organizer handle the basic things, but they seem to always have the more difficult items to find too. Combined with their top knotch customer service, this is a difficult supplier to beat.

Comments about Vanco USB Keystone Insert Adapter:
Our new home has an alcove in the kitchen that was obviously intended for a computer. It has a granite countertop.
I wanted no visible cables, so I installed a three gang box above the countertop, and another below, one gang for power, one for VGA, and the other for USB, using a four port Keystone plate. I bought 8 of this product, four above and four below the countertop.
It is slightly tricky to insert the modules side by side, but the four port Keystone plate in one gang is pushing the envelope, and not many so-called "Keystone" modules fit the four port outlet properly, but this one does, so I am not down grading it for this. The signal is fine with USB 2.0
