Needed a flat extension cord to hook up my new reclining couch that required power to recline. The only outlet I had available was behind a shelf and conventional extension cords made it impossible to plug into the receptacle. The TRC FlatPlug did it. I'm glad I got it and the price and shipping were just right for me.

I bought this product because there was an unused outlet behind the bed. There was not much room in between and this was perfect in size to fit right between the bed headboard and wall. I searched for couple hours before making a final decision and this was the best fit for what I needed.

This is the thinnest plug I've seen on an extension cord. Perfect behind the dresser and other very tight places. The child safety sliding locks on the outlets are a nice bonus though they're not spring-loaded, so I wouldn't leave this exposed around toddlers. Make note that this is a two prong cable, i.e., it isn't grounded.

Comments about TRC FlatPlug Extension Cord - 2 Outlets - 7 Ft:
I have an outlet behind a bookshelf that I desparately needed to use every week--before this I had to pull the bookshelf out every time I needed it. This cord fit perfectly--I was able to put the bookshelf almost completely flush with the wall, you can't even tell it's not. I was suprised but happy to see that the "receiving" end had sliding guards for when you weren't using an outlet. Overall this is an EXCELLENT cord, in both the functionality and price--HIGHLY recommend.
Pros
- Angles out of the way
- Well Designed
Cons
- Wish it were shorter

Bought it for my kitchen TV. I needed something that lays flat and that I could plug the DVR into as well. The cord lies very flat and is hardly noticeable.
