These step-down butt connectors are available in insulated or non-insulated versions to provide a splicing solution for any application. These unique connectors allow you to connect wires of 2 different gauges to each other smoothly and get a reliable connection. Each connection is color coded on its ends using standard AWG colors for easy identification and to avoid errors during installation. |
- Crimp barrels have crimp indicators for a sure crimp every time
- Equipped with a wire stop to avoid over insertion
- Butt is seamless so it provides superior crimp performance and strain relief
- Window in the butt provides visual confirmation of the butt being inserted
- Butt splice has a uniform copper wall, so positive crimping is uniform on both sides

We needed a step down connector but could not use an insulated one for the application. These connectors were just what we needed. They worked great and are now part of the design.
