Comments about MICRO THERM MJ 600:
We usually use electric heat guns but hate looking for electricity on roof tops and job sites. We have tried many ideas over the years. Butane torches usually burn the rubber shrink tubing if you are too close and they blow out in the wind. I was excited to try this flame less torch but it was very disappointing. It does not run more then 10 minutes per tank and it is a very week flame. To be fair we are shrinking 400 and 600 series coax tubes. Not the light weight stuff.

Comments about MICRO THERM MJ 600:
I would highly not recommend this product. Ended up going through the entire first lighter and couldn't even shrink the smallest of tubing. I should have just gone with a plug in heat gun, but I don't heat shrink very often and was looking for a cheaper alternative. If this was 10 bucks I wouldn't have been to upset, but for [$], I expected at least a working product.

Comments about MICRO THERM MJ 600:
This product is expensive compared to other mini torches. It is difficult to pull the trigger and keep it on. It goes through the butane very quickly and is difficult to refill and install the cartridge. The tip gets very hot and is unprotected when layed down on work surface.

Comments about MICRO THERM MJ 600:
I have this unit with 2 refill cartridges and both cartridges produce different levels of heat...
Ideally this should be used for tubing no greater than 10mm, it does produce good heat compared to others Ive tried. But is a little flimsy, holding the trigger down to use is a pain and so is re-filling using the cartidge.

Comments about MICRO THERM MJ 600:
The Micro Therm was not powerful enough for us to use it to shrink wrap plastic around bottles for packaging. We had to buy a more powerful hot air gun.
