What's special about cable wrap?
RipWrap™ can be used to bundle Fiber Optic and structured cables instead of nylon wire ties; in fact, many speed wrap cable manufactures are recommending "soft-hold" hook and loop ties for use with sensitive data cables. Now RipWrap makes that switch even easier and more cost efficient. This tape is more secure than Velcro cable wraps. |

Comments about Rip Wrap 45 PIECES:
This stuff works great. We use the perforated rolls, it's easier then cable ties, and less bulky then velcro (and stronger). Other than big chassis power cables, we use this for all of our copper/fiber cable management.
Pros
- Easy to Install
- Inexpensive
Cons
Best Uses
- Cable Tray
- Server Racks
Comments about Rip Wrap 45 PIECES:
I really do love this stuff. I bought 2 rolls of the 150' non-perforated lengths. It really is called rip-wrap for a reason. Just roll a good amount around your wrist, rip it off and then go to work. All I had to do was pull a segment from what was around my wrist and rip it and wrap it.
As long as you give it enough overlap, it is very strong and holds all the cables together. It is great for the areas where cabling may change frequently. I also thing it puts a lot less strain on the cable versus zip-ties.
I would very highly recommend this product to anyone installing in cable tray, overhead, or in server racks.

Comments about Rip Wrap 45 PIECES:
I recently started a new job as 1 man IT department for a company that up until now did not have dedicated IT staff. The server room was a mess! I attacked it with a few rolls of this stuff and it worked wonders. We just moved offices, and having some rolls handy ensured that the new server room would STAY tidy from the start. The only drawback is that these wear out quickly. However, since they are a fraction of the cost of Velcro, they are well worth it. I'm adding this review right as I am about to purchase a few more rolls. Great stuff!

Comments about Rip Wrap 45 PIECES:
I used this product in a very dynamic QA lab for a company developing a control plane for switches. Changes to the physical layout occur daily. Velcro ties can be very expensive and tie wraps need to be cut every time a new wire is added or things get messy. This product is a cost efficient means of maintaining some organization to the cable management scheme.

I'm using Rip Wrap to organize my wiring closet. It's great. Much more flexible than zip-ties and I love that I can re-use them if I need to re-organize.

Comments about Rip Wrap 45 PIECES:
Rip Wrap is a great product for keeping wires, cables and many other items organized. Can be used with camping gear and hobbies. We use it on small appliance cords and extension cords too. I even wrapped up all my christmas lights for storage. I also use it to gather my tie-wraps together.
Only con I can find is the length. I usually cut the sections in half for my use.
