Instructions to Use Ethernet Cord Winder
- To use unit, gently pull on both ends of the cord
- Pull on cord until all 8 feet has been extended from case
- Plug one end into the RJ45 outlet of computer and the other end into the corresponding wall outlet
- When finished, push button to auto-retract cord back into case
- Repeat this procedure each time

Our School has been set up with a wireless network but is constantly losing connectiong. All the students were coming to school without ethernet cables thinking the connection would always be up. That was not the case. I've purchased one of these Retractable Ethernet Cat5e cords and haven't left the house without it. Very dependable, easy to use, lightweight and convenient! All the mess of cat5 cables in my backpack is out the window. I now carry my retractable cat5e cord everywhere I go!.

This retractable cable is ideal for travel and fits nicely into a laptop bag or carrier. It's great for those times the hotel you're staying in doesn't have a wireless network.
The only negative thing is that once in rewinding it, it seems to have rewound too quickly and twisted the cable in the process.

I am a college student. I use it for in class use to simply plug into the wall. It is easier to bring this than to bring a non-retractable one. Plus this one is long so it can stretch far. I don't have to be right against the wall to get connected. It was cheap too.
