The Slide-Out Shelf by Quest has a load capacity of 55 lbs, extends a full 28” for easy rear access to components, and is vented to help keep equipment cool. Made of 16 AWG cold rolled steel, with a black powder coat finish to help prevent abrasions and scratches. |

This unit does not fit in a 1U space.
It encroaches on the spaces above and below.
The drawer sides extend 3/16" above and 1/8" below the 1U mounting ears.
To provide minimal operating clearance, you will need to allow at least 1/4" space above and below this unit (because the drawer is easily flexed).
The front mounting brackets have 2 tabs that are fixed and make the assumption that you have a 3 1/4" deep frame on your rack that is drilled front and rear.
The second tab may be unusable or may strike internal structures on your rack.
The rear brackets are held on by screws that are welded to the glides which makes adapting the mount difficult.
