‘Twas the week before Christmas
And all through my crib
We were ready to party
And that ain’t no fib.

The cookies were set out,
The hors d’oeuvres were hot
Festivity was cranking
But the tunes, they were not.

The music had started,

So we scrambled for speakers
And an iTunes’d laptop.

And a great sense of fear.
