Trend Networks (formerly Ideal Networks) provides testing equipment for data cables and networks that help professional installers detect and solve issues in order to verify their installations. The LAN testing unit of the company originally known as Wavetek (and later Acterna) was acquired by Ideal Industries in 2001, and offers a broad range of testers and instruments designed the data, voice, and video networks. On March of 2021, Ideal Networks rebranded to Trend Networks.
