I used two of these grommets in a high end conference table that I just built. They look like they're built to last and compare to some very pricey pop-up grommets. I did have to modify the bottom of the 1 1/8" table slightly to allow for the grommet to swivel properly.

I searched the web for a compact but comprehensive data center that I can install into our conference table. I periodically have meetings with outside people who need access to the internet and I don't like wires running all over and getting into the way. I purchased 2 of these datacenters so I can use one network outlet for our conference phone, 2 for internal network connections, and the other for external internet access. It works well, but I do have to be careful flipping it open as the power line is so bulky and heavy that it's difficult getting it flipped. You need to give it a push from under the table, which needs to be done before the meeting, not during. I also had to strenghten the network connection hookups as they seemed to be very flimsy and afraid the wires would get pulled out of the connectors after a few "flips". All in all, I like the compact design and the idea that it remains flat on the table without having the directional pop-ups that other datacenters have so it's accessible to both sides of the table. Finding a 107mm hole saw was a little challenge but I obtained a 108mm (4 1/4") from a home improvement store and it worked OK.

Our company [...] makes reclaimed wood conference tables. We have used these grommets almost exclusively without any problems. Notably, we have also used them in some high traffic cafe application (at [...] stores) and they have held up well to heavy use.

The overall design is great.
My suggestions (Room For Improvement) are:
A) The data connectors terminals underneath the table could break easily with the unit movement after a while.
B) Could be consolidated into one (1) solid multi-cable (stronger like the power cable) instead of two (2) very thin cables.

Easy to install and works great! Had spacing issues so I moved an employee into a work room and this product was needed to give them network and electrical connection.
