If you have ever had to experience the frustration of trying to find a place to plug different components in a conference room while still allowing movement in the room without people jumping over cables, you will appreciate the miniport. I would recommend you get someone who knows what they are doing to cut the hole in your table....thats the most important part. You will like the convenience it offers by giving one central, ergonomic location to plug in both data and power.

I love the convenience and the neat design of this product. I installed the miniport on my desk so that I could have an easy access to a plug for my computer and phone cables.
