These are easy to install and look great. I got the CAT5 coupler to connect the network plug but it causes the CAT5 Cable to bend a hard 90 degrees. A CAT5 Cable with a boot will not work at all. Suggest using punchdown instead of the RJ45 coupler. Your whole needs to be almost perfect or the door will get in a bind and not close right. All in all I would buy this product again.

I installed 8 of these on conference room tables in two different conference rooms for a customer. Everyone loves the way work. They pop up very easily and when not in use they tuck away in the table. It also eliminates people having to crawl under the table to connect to power and the network during meetings. I have been asked to install them in all their conference rooms throughout the facility. I will defiantly be ordering more.

It looks and feels solid but I haven't had it long enought to comment on long term durability. There are 3 plastic retainers that grasp the bottom of the surface, 2 with screws (don't over tighten them. The other is a ratcheting press fit, It would have been better if it was a screw type as well. The installation instructions were very clear and it comes with a template wich is useful. I wrapped electrical tape around the unit before inserting it into the cut-out so that it fit snug. I would buy another.

Because the two that I ordered were going into a table with a glass top, the cutout templates that were included came in really handy. I gave them to my glass guy and he produced a perfect fit.

This device is reasonably priced and offers a low cost alternative to pop-up power and data port access needs. Device offers an attractive way to deliver power and data needs to a surface that requires easy plug in of powered devices. The only down side is by the nature of the device you must carefully install it through the mounting surface using a drill and electric jigsaw. Other devices with the same functional capacity cost 5 times as much, so this one is a good deal!
