Plug in your cell phone or other device, then attach the DC adapter to your car's plug and your devices are being charged. I'm one of those who constantly forgets to charge their phone and Palm. This is terrific for getting the spark back into my business and personal life on the road or in a hotel room. Make sure to get the adapter though because you'll need it in a hotel room. Just plug it in and you have a mini-docking station for all your electronic needs. As an added plus, you don't have to hunt down that phone just as it rings because it's right where it should be, in a tidy console.

This is a great organizer, I bought it for my husband because he is in sales and always driving. It protects his sattelite radio unit from sun/heat damage and charges his Palm Trio as well. I also bought the adapter to plug in while he is in hotels so he can charge two phones plus his ipod.
