Total length? - If the power cord extends 2 feet beyond the duct then does the 12 ft cord actually extend 14 ft in length?

Asked by Anonymous user on

  • - Thank you for your question. That is correct, the difference is that the 2 extra feet are not protected under the cord cover.

Extremely disappointed in the look & feel of this product. Discoloration of the plastic. Box holding the outlet has big warp causing a gap.

Comments about 4' PWR EXT. DUP. REC. NON SURGE:

My elderly mother recently moved in with us and we needed a way to run an extension cord to her reading lamp near the middle of a large room. Running a cord under a carpet is a fire hazard and regular cord laying on the floor a tripping hazard. This extension cord provided the solution. It lays flat along the edge of the carpet and can be stepped on/walked over easily.

We needed an extension cord for a computer that went across a light traffic area. This unit was a perfect match. We were easily able to customize the length of the cover using a utility knife for a custom installation.

I used to have a hard time protecting my extension cords. They used to get worn and I had
to replace them. Thanks to the Lay Flat extension
from Flexiduct I no longer had to worry about my extensions getting cut or worn and the power surge protector was an added plus.
