Pan-Punch™ 110 Category 5e bases are specially designed for use with Pan-Punch 110 connecting blocks to make Category 5 installations easier. They feature an exclusive deeper channel that provides more space for the cable jacket, which can be brought up to the point of termination to help maintain the pair twists within 1/2”. A typical Pan-Punch™ system installation will use one base to connect the communication equipment cabling and a different base to connect workstation cabling.

Equipment workstation bases are inter-connected or cross-connected with jumpers or patch cords. Pan-Punch™ 110 Connecting blocks provide a highly reliable 110 termination solution. They are designed for use with Pan-Punch™ Bases and are also compatible with other existing 110 systems. These patented category 5 compliant connecting blocks exceed the TIA/EIA-568-B.2 standard and are RoHS compliant. Constructed of sturdy high impact polycarbonate and UL listed 94V-0. They can be used with 22-26 AWG solid or stranded UTP cable.

 

    Pan-Punch 110 Category 5e Base

  • Bases exceed all Category 5e connector requirements as defined by EIA/TIA
  • ROHS compliant and UL listed 940-V
  • Compatible with all existing 110 installations
  • Pan Punch 110 connecting blocks have a test access port for each contact to allow testing with the wires installed
  • Deep channels in each base allow jacketed cable to to be routed within .50” of the point of wire termination (per TIA-568 requirements)
  • Each base has TIP color coded wire strips for ease of installation and maintenance
  • The self-locking wire strip design prevents the wire strip from popping off when a 110 block is removed.
  • 100 or 300 pair base is available, with or without legs
  • Legs are molded as part of the base to provide a sturdy base that cannot be removed from its mounting. Legs allow cables to be routed behind bases.
