trying to protect an 8 gage electrical cord. plenty of room to accommodate. however, put this on asphalt and the bumps slide all over the place. already purchased 3 of these and can't get them to work without putting a stake through the holes...ideal for dirt or grassy areas. looking at securing some rubber mat to the bottom for traction...results in spending more time and money to fix this ...could be a good product if the bottom were rubber
