Should be used in a more permanent floor area as the installation of the cords is somewhat time consuming. The product is however very durable.

We purchased this to cover an ethernet cable in our conference room. I chose this product specifically because it was listed as lying flat out of the box.
When we first got the product, it was almost comical how UN-flat it was out of the box. I tried laying it on top of a shelf with a few reams of paper on each end holding them down. That didn't work. Then I tried actually bending it the other way for several days. That didn't work either! I eventually resorted to buying some 3M adhesive velcro and just velcroed it to the carpet. Very dissapointed in this product, I've always gotten good stuff from Cable Organizer in the past.
