RG6 coaxial cable has long been the standard for transmitting digital signals, but with the growing popularity of wireless transmitters, it's harder than ever to protect the integrity of that signal. Dual or Quad shielded cable is available in either a plenum or riser jacket to meet just about any specification. |
- 18 AWG Solid Copper conductor has an outer diameter of only 0.40” (1.02mm), so cable is easy to run cable through small areas
- Both quad and dual-shielded cables contain 34 AWG aluminum braiding for optimal protection against crosstalk or foreign signals
Plenum
- Dual shield has 80% braid coverage for greater EMI/RFI protection
- Quad shield has a 40-60% aluminum braid design to help with stripping the cable
- Sweep tested to 2.2 GHz to ensure signal strength
- ETL Listed as CMP
- C(ETL) certified as CL2P FT6
- Dielectric foam is made up of FEP material for greater flexibility
- Covered with a low smoke thermoplastic jacket to protect the inner components
Non-Plenum
- Dual shield has 60% braid coverage to offer interference protection
- Quad shield has a 40-60% aluminum braid
- Sweep tested to 3.0 GHz for signal integrity
- ETL Listed as CM/CL2 and CATV
- Dielectric foam is made up polyethylene to help maintain bend radius
- Covered with a PVC jacket to provide protection against the elements
Applications
- Community Access Television Stations
- Security Cameras
- Broadband Cable Access
- Television and Video Cameras
- K-12 Education
- Healthcare
