The Minuteman Entrust Series is a line interactive uninterruptible power supply, which means it does more for electronics than just turning a battery on when the power goes out. It actually monitors incoming power to the unit from the wall outlet and either gives it a boost from the battery if the voltage is low, or filters it down a bit if the voltage is too high. This action increases the life of the protected hardware. More

The Entrust Series is great for network devices, desktop and laptop workstations, small business phone systems and VoIP handsets. These Power Supplies come with Minuteman's SentryPlus™ software, which allows for auto-shutdown in the event of a blackout, power monitoring, remote monitoring, printable history with event logs, and diagnostic reports.

These battery backups provide enough time for your system to shut down safely, or for you to save your files in the event of a power outage. There are three main types of battery back-ups: Standby, Line Interactive, and On-line. Each offers a different level of protection depending on your needs and budget. Line interactive UPSs, such as the Minuteman Entrust Series, form the middle of the road option in protection. A line interactive uninterruptible power supply offers superb backup capabilities while protecting systems from damaging low voltage dips and high voltage spikes.
