Barium Carbonate
Found in lead ore and can be used as a flux, a matting/crystallizing agent, and it is combined with certain coloring agents to produce unique colors not previously attainable. Formula for Barium Carbonate is BaCO3, also called witherite after William Withering recognized it in 1784. Barium Carbonate is used in rat poison, bricks, ceramic glazes, and cement.
