The R2 Series Seismic 44 RU Open Frame 2-Post Rack from Middle Atlantic® is specially engineered to withstand heavy vibration due to seismic activity. This heavy duty 2-post rack is seismic certified to provide a secure mounting solution for 850 lbs of essential equipment in upper floor installations. The R2 Series rack features marked space increments on each rail for fast and accurate equipment mounting, as well as a convenient hole pattern for optional cable management additions or ganging to existing structures.

  • EIA compliant 19" rails are constructed from incredibly strong 1/8" thick steel, with #10-32 threads on both the front and rear channels to provide easy installation of standard rackmount equipment and hardware
  • Heavy duty, 3/8" thick by 15" deep solid steel base provides a high level of stability and reliability in the event of an earthquake or other seismic disturbance
  • Hole pattern on the sides of each rail allows for cable lacing, ganging to existing racks or enclosures, and/or installation of optional cable manager
  • Finished in a durable black powder coat to provide lasting quality and minor abrasion protection
  • Grounding stud installed in the base to help disperse built-up static charges
  • Ships assembled and ready to install
