These metal desk grommets are a fashionable way to cover cable holes in your desk. They are available in 7 commonly used finishes to match your existing furniture accents, yet still remain completely functional. The smooth metal helps to protect your cables from abrading due to rough or sharp edges. More |
The metal grommets also allow you to neatly route your cables through the 21mm x 29mm (1-1/7" x 5/6") opening will accommodate most electrical outlets.
Much like our other grommets, metal desk grommets can be used to suit just about any application, but they are made of metal (zinc die-cast) for added durability and are a bit shallower (only 1/2" deep) for use with a wider variety of desk thickness. Metal desk grommets are easy to install as they simply press fit into place or they can be glued in. The one piece, low profile design (1/8") adds to the ease for use and allows for use with a many different desks.

Most grommets have 2 pieces, but this just the center piece. There is no outer ring that nicely covers the cut hole, so you will see your cut wood or granite when looking down through the open part of the grommet. If they had 2 pieces, it would be great, but otherwise it is just so so.
