When I first got it, I thought it didn't work, but I realized that it works best when I turn my phone OFF. Since then, it's been smooth sailing. Overall I like it and it's great for business trips or charging when your flight is delayed.
It's easy and nearly foolproof. I love that it has an accessory bag to carry around the tip(which for me, there just aren't enough of- but my USB cord works with the USB cable adapter).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
