How to Install Your Wiring Solution

 

If you're installing a flat-screen TV but want to avoid the hassle and expense of running cables behind a wall, then look no further than the Wiring Solution. The Wiring Solution allows you to surface-route cables from a home theater unit up to a flat panel screen, by covering the cord run and blending it almost seamlessly into your wall. In addition to looking great, the Wiring Solution is also simple to install … it requires minimal tools and supplies, and can be tackled even by those home theater buffs who don't have much DIY experience!

Supplies: Wiring Solution, screwdriver, hammer, level, caulk (optional), paint (optional)

marking holes for Wiring SolutionWith Wire Channel held in position, place the provided screws into the pre-drilled holes and screw into sheetrock wall. Then remove screws.
NOTE: For articulating wall mount applications a 3rd screw is provided and may be installed at the top of the channel by drilling a new hole and performing this same task.

STEP 4

 

drilling holes for Wiring SolutionWith the holes made by the mounting screws, carefully tap ALLIGATOR® wall anchors into screw holes and flush with wall surface.

STEP 5

 

inserting wires into channelInsert audio/video and power cables into the channels by slipping the wires under the wire retainer flaps. This will hold the cables in place during the remaining installation process.

STEP 6

 

screwing wire channel into wallPosition the Wire Channel and index screws into wall anchor holes. Hand tighten to a snug fit. Do not over tighten.

STEP 7

 

caulking channel and wallCaulking the edges of the Wire Channel is optional. This makes for a more seamless look when painted.

NOTE:Wire Channel may be pre-painted as an option.
