What's special about this label printer? The 2012XLST-PC label printer is the ultimate industrial labeling system due to it's ability to work as a hand held labeler or connect to a desktop PC for your labeling needs. The printer allows you to print on polyolefin heat shrink tube, polyester wire and cable wrap materials, and industrial polyester adhesive-backed tapes. |

Power is provided by 6-AA batteries or an AC power adapter (California Electrical Energy Reduction requirements met). The molded handle makes portability and field operation easier that ever. The 2012XLST-PC features a QWERTY style keyboard and LCD display panel for easier text and number entry. Contains a vast industrial symbols library, along with 14 fonts, 6-Bar Code formats, automatic power off, 8-lines of text or numbers, and memory back up. MaxiLabel® Pro software adds increased capability to this system as you can import custom graphics and symbols, split image printing for big labels, use alphanumeric sequencing and Excel files to increase labeling applications. To complete the professional look of your labels, the PeelGuard™ Label Trimmer is also included to round the label corners.

Comments about LABELShop 2012XLST MACHINE KIT(PC & PORTABLE):
The 2012XLST-PC is one of the most versatile label printers I've ever used. You can use it attached to your PC or as a portable label printer and you can label just about anything, from project folders to lab equipment. My favorite feature are the rounded corners on the labels. This gives the labels a more professional look and it makes it difficult to rub off.
The software that comes along with it is also great as you can define every detail of your label and get a better visual before printing. The graphics are very clear and defined and the text is superb.
Another favorite feature of mine is that you can print graphics, borders, and different fonts all directly from the label printer, without connecting to your PC and you can save them for later use.
The only problem is that for me personally, I felt a bit overwhelmed by all of the features of this model. I use a great deal of features now, but find each day that there are even more.
