- Ensures proper pulling force is not exceeded, so there are no damages to the cables
- The wheel turns with the cables. Cable friction is almost completely eliminated, because the cable does not slide across the wheel of the pulley
- Makes turns easier, with no corner drag
- May be re-used or left in place as a cable hanger
- Load capacity : 75 lbs
- 1 year warranty
- Made of injection molded nylon and polypropylene (non-plenum)
- May be used for 90° horizontal turns, elevation changes, straight up and down pulls. The 2nd Man eliminates the need to bring the cable down through the ceiling, place it on the floor, and then feed it back up through the ceiling to make a turn
- Eliminates he safety hazard of cable strung on the floor and damage to it
- Preserves the integrity of the cables during and after an installation process, since it protects the bend radius, friction, and pulling force
- Use it to help line up the cable pulled into a conduit
- Preserves and protects cable integrity by maintaining proper bend radius for 4-pair fiber optic and Cat 5 cables

Comments about 2nd Man Cable Pulley - 2 Pack:
This cable pulley is well worth the money and has saved me countless hours of labor when installing cabling in the ceilings. The only problem with it is that it is made out of thin plastic. I have accidentally cut the handle on a couple of these when trying to cut it down. Once the handle has been cut, it is pretty much useless. You will no longer be able to secure it around a corner.

Comments about 2nd Man Cable Pulley - 2 Pack:
I found these and was excited at first. I hung 3 side by side and strung 3 cat6 ethernet cables through each. the first pull went swimmingly allowing us to pull around a 90* bend at the roof line of a warehouse.
THEN I had to remove the cable. BIG mistake.
Two of them had plastic tabs holding the covers break off the first time I removed them. and as stated before the plastic axle is an absolute joke to replace. it took at least 2 minutes each (up on a lift) to secure them back together.
The second pull they started binding against each other and we had to abandon them and go back to pulling the hard way (in stages)
I think I may go to the hardware store and replace the axles with metal pins and use kotter pins to secure them.
Unless I can fabricate a simple way to release the cable, I'll never use them again.
If they released a reliable aluminum version, I'd GLADLY buy them at twice the price.

Comments about 2nd Man Cable Pulley - 2 Pack:
I gave this pulley a shot because in theory it's a good design, and much less expensive than a metal pulley setup. However, practically it does not work as well as it was intended.
My biggest complaint with these pulleys is how hard it is to snap the plastic hanger assembly onto the center rod that the pulley rotates around. It's not to bad when you just have it in your hands on the ground, but get in a lift, twist your body through some overhead pipes and then try to install this thing...it's very difficult. Even with two good hands on it, snapping the plastic piece back onto the plastic rod can be frustrating. An easier method could be designed allowing the quick assembly of this pulley.
My second issue is with versatility. The pulley is only designed to hang in one direction, parallel to the plastic hanging loop. If you don't have anything overhead to hang it on that is running the same direction you want to go, you can't use the pulley.
Third issue is that the pulley tends to twist very easily because of the lightweight plastic hanger that holds it. This is hard to describe, but it can cause a gap to open between the pulley wheel and the plastic cover on top of the wheel that keeps the cable from coming out. If you are pulling cable and this gap occurs, the cable can go into the gap and not only jam, but possibly cut the cable as well.
Bottom line is that the idea is nice; a lightweight, inexpensive pulley that you can easily install and remove, but the reality is that the shortcomings give this pulley very limited use and it is certainly not up to the everyday tasks for professional cable installers.
