The IDEAL Fiber Optic Visual Fault Finder (VFF) provides telecom and datacom fiber optic installation professionals with a compact light source for finding irregularities in fiber optic cables or networks. More

This visual fault finder works by producing a strong red beam into your fiber optic cable, and allowing you to visually find breaks, poor mechanical splices, damaged connectors, or locate a pinched fiber strand in a termination cabinet. With a non-roll design and rugged, metal body with protective Santoprene® over-sleeve, this VFF makes an essential tool for any professional who works in the field or in the lab, which performs mechanical splice terminations or creates internal-splice connectors.
