The Ideal 30-496 multipurpose telephone tool is used to prepare and terminate phone cable for RJ-11 or RJ45 modular plugs. This one tool cuts, strips and crimps. The Telemaster crimps primary modular plug strain relief only. Strong and durable tool has a steel frame and is economical.

I love this tool i use it all the time. I originally bought it for personal use but then greatly starting to use it to make around 1000 patch cables to dress up our server rooms. Its still going strong and has not quit on me yet. There is only one thing. I dont know if its the style of connectors i use but with i put GIG connectors in device they get pretty stuck. Its not like a regular RJ45 where it just slides in and your done. But other than that it is an amazing product. I love Ideal industries products and will continue to buy them
