3M Hooks with Command Adhesive, Plastic Hooks
This requires one or more of the following: javascript enabled, Flash Video Player, and Quicktime or Windows Media Player |
These self-adhesive plastic hooks come in a variety of sizes and shapes and can be removed and relocated over and over with the use of Command™ Adhesive replacement strips. They adhere to most flat or lightly-textured surfaces such as wood, glass, tile, and painted cinder block. |

- Hooks can be removed and reused repeatedly with the replacement adhesive strips
- Simple peel-and-stick design is easy to use and apply
- Synthetic rubber resin adhesive, also used in gaffer’s tape, provides strong hold and clean removal

CAUTION:
As a precaution DO NOT use for antiques, heirlooms, or other valuable or irreplaceable items. DO NOT hang items over beds. Use only one hook per item hung.. May not adhere well to vinyl surfaces. DO NOT use on wallpapered surfaces.
NOTE: Apply to surfaces above 50°F (10°C). Adhesive could lose adhesion above 105°F (40°C). Hooks can be reused with replacement Command™ Strips.

I had an ice maker water line that kept getting pinched by the fridge. Need to patch it and get it up out of the way. The 3M hooks worked just fine and are still working fine. Would purchas them again as needed.

I used this in my locker at school, and it worked very well all year. However, i struggled to remove the clip because pulling the strip takes a lot of strength. I am still not sure how i am going to get it out...
If you need something that is pretty permanent, than this would work fine! But removal is not so easy...

I bought the Decorating Clips (item CL-17026), and I'm really impressed with how perfectly they worked. I used them to decorate for my wedding... I needed to hang tulle, bows and flower garlands around the church, but the only trick was that we couldn't put holes in anything (no nails or tacks). I had tried wiring flowers and ribbon onto a kneeling bench, but everything kept slipping... until I tried these. We attached these clips to furniture, walls and pillars, and they held onto every surface - absolutely no equipment failure! And best of all, when the decorations came down, none of the surfaces were damaged. Highly recommended!!!

I have a large double-sided brick fireplace. I use the Command Hooks to hold small mirrors and pictures onto the brick surface. I am so glad not to have to drill holes into the brick. I clean the brick surface of all dust and soot, firmly press the adhesive strip onto the brick and then affix the hook to the strip. I leave it for the next day to hang my objects. I have had no problem!
They are also great for hanging temporary holiday decorations outdoors. No need to drill holes into the house.

Like another reviewer, I found that the hooks worked on smooth surfaces only. I hung a couple of pictures on them in the living room and they were fine. The balcony was another story. Since the wall is heavily textured, the hooks did not stick well. One of the hooks I had was apparently for loads up to 3 kilos but this one collapsed within about 30 minutes of hanging a basket of creepers weighing just under 2 kilos. There's no way this stuff will work on a surface that isn't smooth.

I got the 17005 model to actually hang some plants in the apartment. They went on pretty easily and more than enough hold up the orchids. The tough part came in trying to find a spot in the patio smooth enough for the hooks.
