Greenlee's SF-420 AC Stud Sensor with AC detection finds wood and metal studs behind walls, ceilings and floors. Ideal for helping you to avoid pipes and precisely locate studs prior to drilling into walls or wall-mounting heavy objects, this stud finder can be used in Stud Scan Mode for depths up to 3/4" (19 mm), or in Deep Scan Mode for depths up to 1-1/2"(38 mm). Either way, the SF-420 offers the versatility that contractors need. This stud detector also has the capability to indicate the presence of energized AC voltage up to 1-1/2" deep. |
