Crimper:
Greenlee’s new HKL-1232 crimping tool has quite a bit of force, 12 tons to be precise. This is a manually operated hydraulic crimper which has an easy die change push button system, a C shaped head which has a wide opening to allow for quick covering of connectors and the head rotates 180° for use in hard to access spaces.  Adding to all that, it accepts all industry-standard U-style or shell-type dies designed for twelve-ton crimping tools, so no special Greenlee adaptors are needed. 

Dies:
Most people prefer a hexagonal style crimp which is what you get with these dies.  You can use any Greenlee 12-ton tools with these dies and meet with UL and cUL classified standards as long as you use Anderson®, Blackburn®, FCI Burndy®, Ilsco®, Panduit®, Penn-Union®, and Thomas & Betts® copper color-coded lugs and splices. The KC12 and KA12 dies can be used up to the capacity of the tool with the following Greenlee tools: EK1230, EK1230C, EK1240, EK1240C, CK1230, CK1240, HK1230, HK1230C, HK1240, HK1240C, HKL1230, RK1230, RK1230C, RK1240, RK1240C, RK1550* *Requires 48802 adapters. These dies may be used with other brands of 12-ton crimping tools that are designed to accept industry "U" style dies.

KC12:
KC12 crimping dies are a new series of 12-ton dies for use with copper color-coded lugs and splices. They will replace the current dies shown in the Greenlee catalog. These dies are UL and cUL classified with seven brands of connectors.
