Product is heavy enough that it stays in place and is strong enough to protect the cables under it.
Works great in our conference room however I will say it is a big speed bump so chairs will not go over it easy. We routed all the cables to the head of the table near the projection screen where no one sits and no chairs need to move over it. In this location it is perfect.
