These telescoping poles are used for installing cables in long spans in hard to reach areas such as ceilings, floors, and crawl spaces. Each rod extends to 16’ or 26’ long and collapses down to 2’ to 3’ in length for easy storage and handling.

The material is non-conductive wound filament fiberglass with a polyester resin baked enamel coating. This coating provides additional strength and protection from rust and corrosion.

      This item was bought to aid Explosive Ordinance Disposal experts in disposing of unexploded ordinances and IEDs while having standoff distance. Unfortunately this item cannot carry very much weight. The item boughs and decreases standoff distance when holding weight. It cannot be efficiently used for our purpose.

        I install cables by profession and tried many telescoping poles before. This CMD TP-26HD 26' telescoping pole is probably the best one I ever used. The compact size means that you can use this pole in very tight spots. You can easily get this pole up in the plenum through very small opening or up against the wall. The pole is very light. This is extremely important when you are working with an extra long pole and standing on a ladder. A heavy pole will just be too much to work with. With this light-weight pole, I can work all day without getting aching my arms. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to do cabling work.

          This telescoping pole is effective for many uses in the electrical industry and some security applications as well. Its a compact tool and affordable. I have many favorite specialty tools, but this one is among the top.
          It is exceptionally effective in touching politicians and lawyers. Use caution when attempting these two.

          This pole is very useful and does what it was designed for. Unfortunately, it is a bit delicate so you have to treat it with care or something may come apart. It has a lot of accessories you can use on the end which is a great help.
