FastLane™ Drop Over Cable Protectors are a quick and easy solution to cable management. The durable polyurethane is ideal for constant pedestrian foot traffic. The “L” shaped connectors attach to other FastLane ™ Drop Over Protectors to create longer cable runs. A low profile cover and 5-bar surface tread provide maximum traction to help lessen the hazards of tripping or slipping. These drop over cable protectors are a fast and effective way of protecting small cables and cords in your home, office, or warehouse.

My company needed to protect A/V cabling running across the floor in a boardroom setting. Due to the building construction, core-drilling was out, but other options we had at our disposal were either too expensive or looked to "shop-like" for a boardroom setting. The FastLane organizer's design allowed us to span the distance required (70") with its interlocking pieces and we easily modified it by cutting off the non-used interlocking ends to butt the organizer between the credenza and table, making a neat appearance. The gradual slope and slim design works well to guard against tripping.

This cable cover looked good and had the right amount of space for cables. Unfortunately the stuff is so slippery that a foot touching it slides it across the carpet. We thought we would put Velcro on to hold it down, but the stickum on the back of the Velcro didn't hold because it was so slippery. We might have to try roughing it up with sandpaper.

This cable cover looked good and had the right amount of space for cables. Unfortunately the stuff is so slippery that a foot touching it slides it across the carpet. We needed to protect a set of network cables coming from a set of cubicles. The office supply store models were just too flimsy. This model was much better. Only negative is the cable chase does not have a bottom, but this still worked great for us.

Good for Lan Parties to keep smaller wires from being stepped on. But dont try to put any big wires through it, as you feel that you'd be putting extra stress on the wire if you were to move anything over it.

I use this between wall and my retail cash bar. I have 3 phone, 2 computer and power running under it. I looked at all the major big boxes (office depot, officmax, home depot, menards, Lowes and more) and found only a CHEAP rolled rubber thing. I wanted a rigged commercial solution.
